Workshop Details & Registration Process
We recognize the courage it requires to step into this sacred work. Our Story Workshops are intentionally designed to provide a thoughtful, relational space for restoration. Our admissions process seeks to honor the vulnerability of your desire to do this work and to create a kind space for discerning if the nature and timing of this experience aligns with your needs.

Registration Process
The first step is to submit an online registration form. This form is available online, takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete, and requires a $250 deposit to secure your seat. Once you have submitted your registration form, you will receive the next steps to participate in this workshop. Please note: If you are Black, Indigenous, and/or a Person of Color we invite you to participate in this workshop. If you are not BIPOC, please recognize and honor that this workshop is not for you. We invite you to participate in our next Story Workshop.
Costs
The total cost of this online workshop is $749. The fee completely covers the costs of this 3-day intensive workshop.
A $250 deposit is required to secure your seat at the time of enrollment. This non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is applied to your workshop fee. When you enroll you will have the option to pay your workshop fee in full or opt to pay in two or four installments.
Payment Policy
If fees are not paid in full by the start of the workshop, you will not be able to participate. The Allender Center at The Seattle School reserves the right to pursue payment in full of the amounts owed using any lawful means it deems appropriate. This may involve a third party agency. Administrative and/or collection fees permissible by law are the responsibility of the participant.
Payment Due Dates by Plan
Two Installments — Payments of $249.50 are due on April 1 and June 1, 2023
Four Installments — Payments of $124.75 due on March 1, April 1, May 1, and June 1, 2023
A 3% processing fee applies to online payments. Please note that the processing fee does not apply to the tuition deposit. All fees must be paid in full by June 1. Participation in the workshop will not be permitted until fees have been paid in full.
Scholarships
We believe in the importance of this work and are committed to making this offering accessible. Up to 50% scholarship is available for this year’s participants. If the cost of the workshop is a barrier, we encourage you to apply for a scholarship by emailing admissions@theallendercenter.org.

Disclaimer
Story Workshop involves intensive exploration of your own story and the stories of others, but it is not group therapy. Story Workshop provides an opportunity to engage in restorative work within your story, but does not act as a substitute for consistent therapeutic engagement and support.

When you enroll, you will be asked if you have any dual relationships with members of our facilitator team and/or fellow participants. This information assists us with group placement. Our 2023 facilitator team may include:

Covenant & Release of Claims
The Allender Center is a part of The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology. The Center offers Story Workshops. Your participation in the program is conditioned on your agreeing to the terms of this Covenant and Release of Claims.

Cancellation Policy
Your $50 application fee and $250 enrollment deposit are non-refundable and non-transferrable. The remaining workshop fee of $499 may be refundable, following this schedule:
- More than 60 days in advance of the workshop start date: 100%
- 30-60 days in advance of the workshop start date: 50%
- Less than 30 days in advance of the workshop start date: 0%
