We recognize the courage it requires to step into this sacred work. Our Story Workshops are intentionally designed to provide a thoughtful, relational space for restoration. Our registration process seeks to honor the vulnerability of your desire to do this work and to create a kind space for discerning if the nature and timing of this experience align with your needs. To register for this workshop, please complete the online registration form, You’ll be asked to answer a few questions which will allow us to place you in a small group for this workshop. Once you submit the registration form and payment, you have officially registered for the workshop.

Please note: If you are Black, Indigenous, Latino/a, and/or Asian/Pacific Islander, we invite you to participate in this workshop. If you are not, please recognize and honor that this workshop is not for you. We invite you to participate in another upcoming Story Workshop.

Costs & Scholarships

The total cost of this online workshop is $949. The fee completely covers the costs of this 3-day intensive workshop.

That’s why we offer tiered pricing for this Story Workshop, allowing you to choose the option that best fits your financial situation. If the full registration cost would place an undue strain on you or your household, you are welcome to select the discounted scholarship rate of $549. We trust you to use your discretion when choosing the ticket level that works for you.

Disclaimer

Story Workshop is a unique psycho-educational experience that involves intensive exploration of your own story and the stories of others as it relates to narratives of heartache and trauma. The sessions are designed to encourage participants to engage their story in a holistic way by exploring psychological, spiritual, biological, and social aspects of the experience of various forms of trauma. Please note: this program is not therapy and does not act as a substitute for therapeutic engagement.

Dual Relationships

When you register, you will be asked if you have any dual relationships with members of our facilitator team and/or fellow participants. This information assists us with group placement. Our 2025 facilitator team may include:

The Allender Center is a part of The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology. The Center offers Story Workshops. Your participation in the program is conditioned on your agreeing to the terms of this Covenant and Release of Claims.

Cancellation Policy

Your registration fee may be refundable according to the following amounts and schedule: 

  • More than 60 days in advance of the workshop start date: 100% (minus $50 cancellation fee)
  • 30-60 days in advance of the workshop start date: 50%
  • Less than 30 days in advance of the workshop start date: 0%
