Program Details & Application Process – Certificate in Narrative Focused Trauma Care Level I
Our Admissions Counselors work closely with certificate program applicants and look forward to journeying with you —whether you are exploring or ready to apply! You may connect with them via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone (206.876.6149).
Tuition for this year-long training is $5,850. A $500 deposit is due at the time of enrollment to secure your seat in the training. The remaining balance may be paid in full or in four installments.
To apply, please submit our online application. Completing the form takes approximately 30 minutes and must be completed in one sitting. Applicants will be asked to respond to questions about your current work with people, experience participating in a group, experience leading or facilitating groups, and ways that you have gone deeper into your own story. Contact information for two references and a $50 application fee is required to submit your application.
After we receive your application, an Admissions Counselor will connect with you to schedule a 20-30 minute video interview. Our hope in these interviews is to create space to learn more about who you are and what you hope to gain from participating in our certificate training. A brief second interview may be required if we have additional questions.
Because we believe that this work is sacred, and because of the capacity required to engage in this level of work, we are thoughtful in our review process and cannot guarantee that every applicant will be admitted. We work to be transparent throughout the process. Applicants will be notified of our Review Committee’s admissions decision 2-4 weeks following their interview.
We are committed to keeping the cost of this training as accessible as possible. We are tremendously grateful for the investment of our donors who make it possible for us to offer this high-touch, immersive experience. We offer a limited number of scholarships for those experiencing financial hardship as well as multicultural scholarships for applicants from underrepresented racial or ethnic communities. Applicants may request to be considered for these scholarships within the application form.
