Our Location
Welcome to the Allender Center at The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology! In 2025, our building changed locations, so please update your map and get familiar before traveling for a workshop or training.

Map
NOTE: Some mapping and lodging websites are incorrectly pinning our new address in their search engines if you do not fully type out the word ‘South’ in our address (i.e. ‘1130 Rainier Ave S’ takes you to the wrong location; ‘1130 Rainier Ave South’ takes you to correct location). We are still seeking to resolve the issue. If you are looking for nearby lodging, be sure to verify that the intersection of the pin drop to search around the radius is at Rainer Ave South & S Bush Pl.

Nearby Lodging & Transportation
Are you traveling to Seattle for a training or workshop? Here’s some helpful information for you. Our building is in an urban setting, and while there are no hotels within immediate walking distance, there are walkable Airbnb and Vrbo options as well as nearby hotels that will require just a short Uber or Lyft to the venue. As with any large city, Seattle has areas that may feel unfamiliar if you’re not used to an urban environment. While our building is in a well-traveled part of town and Seattle is a safe city to visit, you will encounter aspects of city life such as busier streets, a diverse mix of people and backgrounds, and a visible range of socioeconomic conditions.
We encourage you to plan your lodging and transportation with your comfort level in mind. Below is a list of potential nearby accommodations for you to consider as you make your travel plans.
