Vanessa Sadler

Facilitator

Vanessa Sadler (she/her) is a mixed woman of African American, Native American, Irish and British descent. As a certified trauma-informed spiritual director and enneagram practitioner she approaches client sessions with the understanding that our styles of relating with the Sacred, with ourselves and with one another weren’t formed in a vacuum.

Vanessa believes our formative years profoundly shape who we are today — personally and collectively — and are worth exploring with curiosity, kindness and intention. She serves as a Principal Instructor, facilitator and advisor in Narrative Focused Trauma Care®️ at the Allender Center, where she navigates complex waters at the intersections of spiritual abuse, sexual abuse and racial trauma. Vanessa is a creative contemplative who spends her spare time countering injustice by intuitively and artistically generating beauty. Connect with her at Abide or on Instagram at @abidinginstory.
