Sora Hong
Training Program Supervisor
Sora came to the Seattle School in December 2022 and is passionate about engaging stories of harm, especially the stories of marginalized communities. As Program Coordinator at the Allender Center, Sora communicates with program participants, acts as a program host, and provides administrative support. They hold a degree from the University of Washington in English and Cinema & Media Studies, and have a background in the publishing industry, where they advocated fiercely for independent bookstores. They first discovered their passion for storytelling as an officer of the Queer Person of Color Alliance at the University of Washington.
Sora lives with their partner and their two bunny rabbits in Seattle, WA. Their goal is to eat at every single restaurant in Seattle, and their hobbies include digital art, sci-fi, and marine biology.
