Rebekah Vickery, LMHC
Facilitator
Hi, I’m Rebekah. I come from an ancestral line of artists, teachers, and poets; all who have worked in their own ways to navigate trauma & generational secrets. I know what it is to want and seek healing, and the courage and commitment it requires. I am deeply passionate about joining people in their movement towards greater freedom, belonging, and capacity to love and be loved.
My primary work is as a therapist in Washington, where my practice focuses on healing from complex trauma and abuse. I also collaborate with several colleagues in offering groups and retreats, and have been a member of the Purity Culture Research Collective, where I joined other researchers & therapists in researching the impact of Evangelical purity culture on gender and sexual development. I am a current member of the International Society for the Study of Trauma & Dissociation.
I’ve been privileged to work with the Allender Center in various capacities since 2018, and have a particular love for group work. I find it to be a rich and connective way for participants to experience deeper connection and kind witness to faces & stories. It is a true honor to join you as you engage your story.
