Jessie Filicicchia, MA, LPC, RP

Facilitator

Jessie is a woman who believes goodness is possible in the land of the living—and certain beyond—so she enters this work with hope against hope in the Lord.

Jessie began engaging Dan Allender’s work and the work of the Allender Center when she was  just a senior in college. She feels deeply privileged to facilitate with the Allender Center today.

Jessie is a white Michigander who immigrated to Canada with her husband and small children in 2019. Jessie received her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Moody Theological Seminary in 2016 and her B.A. in English and Philosphy from the University of Michigan in 2009. She worked at her church as a campus minister and then licensed counselor during her adult years in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Jessie currently resides in downtown Toronto and spends much of her time loving her family, serving her household, practicing counseling, and laboring alongside her community in the city.
