New this year: Virtual and In-Person Options
As a Level I trainee, you will participate in four intensive training weekends from Thursday – Sunday. These training weekends include teaching and interactive, small-group work. This year, these groups will be offered in-person and virtually.
We ask that you commit to attending all 4 weekends either in-person or all 4 weekends virtually. Due to the limited nature of in-person seats, we want to ensure these spots are utilized by those who can attend in person.
Whether you choose virtual or in-person participation, you’ll receive the same exceptional teaching, content, and camaraderie with fellow participants.
Costs
Choosing to enroll in a training program creates a financial commitment. A non-refundable, non-transferable $500 deposit is required to secure your seat at the time of enrollment. This deposit is applied to your training fee. At the time of enrollment you will have the option to pay in full or to choose to pay in 2 or 4 installments. Scholarships are also available. (See below.)
The virtual training is $6995 and the in-person training is $7995. Your in-person experience includes lunch and refreshments on the full training days, in-person Story Groups, and peer collaboration.
Scholarships
We believe in the importance of this work and do our best to make this offering accessible. If the cost of the workshop is a barrier, we encourage you to invite your community to consider sponsoring you. We are also grateful to be able to offer a limited number of partial scholarships thanks to the generosity of our donor community. At this time, all scholarships have been awarded for our 2024-2025 NFTC Level I cohort.
Application Process
To apply, please create an account in our online application portal. You will be asked to respond to questions about your current work with people, experience participating in a group, experience leading or facilitating groups, and ways that you have gone deeper into your own story. Please also indicate if you would like to participate in the Intensive Training Weekends in-person or virtually. If we have any questions about your application, an admissions counselor may reach out to discuss your short answers. A non-refundable $50 application fee is required to submit your application.
Notification
Because we believe that this work is sacred, and because of the capacity required to engage in this level of work, we are thoughtful in our review process and cannot guarantee that every applicant will be admitted. We work to be transparent throughout the process. You will be notified of our Review Committee’s admissions decision 2-4 weeks following submission of their application.
