Facilitator

David is a certified Narrative Focused Trauma Care practitioner, core facilitator and trainer at The Allender Center, and an ordained pastor with more than 20 years of pastoral experience. He brings a unique combination of pastoral care and deep expertise in trauma-informed story work to his coaching. He helps professionals, ministry leaders, and couples understand how their stories shape the way they lead, relate, and live.

David is passionate about creating safe spaces for the interplay between the gospel story, our stories of heartache, and spiritual transformation. He helps people tend to the wounded places in their lives so they can experience greater healing, freedom, and wholeness in Christ.

David holds a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and has completed the Allender Center’s Certificate in Narrative Focused Trauma Care (NFTC) Levels I, II, and III. He serves as a core facilitator and trainer for the Allender Center’s NFTC Level I and II programs.

David offers trauma-informed coaching for professionals, ministry leaders, and couples through Shalom Restored Coaching.
