David Salsedo, MDiv
Facilitator
David lives with his family in Chicago, where he has served as an ordained pastor since 2006. David is passionate about creating safe spaces for the interplay between the gospel story, our stories of heartache, and spiritual transformation. In particular, he loves bringing story work into the church and shepherding men and women from all walks of life into greater healing, wholeness, and freedom. In both his work as a facilitator with The Allender Center and in his pastoral role in his church community, David remains captivated by how our capacity to love God, our neighbor, and ourselves is enlarged as we tend to the wounded places in our lives alongside a trusted guide.
David has a Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and has completed the Allender Center’s Certificate in Narrative Focused Trauma Care (NFTC) Level I and II as well as the Externship and Apprenticeship programs (now called NFTC Level III). He is thrilled to be a part of the Allender Center Fellowship Program, where he facilitates groups for NFTC Level I and Story Workshop offerings.
David offers story coaching at Shalom Restored Coaching.
