Joshua Burdette, MDiv

Facilitator

Joshua Burdette is a writer, coach, and pastoral counselor. He serves as a facilitator with the Allender Center, where he accompanies leaders and communities in exploring the intersections of story, trauma, and identity. Following the death of his wife and the journey of blending a family of seven, Joshua developed a deep commitment to engaging grief, resilience, and relational complexity as central to human formation.

He is the founder of Good Shepherd Soul Care and author of The Second Mountain newsletter, where he writes on themes of emotional fluency, connection, and calling. Drawing from his background in pastoral care and narrative-focused work, Joshua cultivates spaces that foster reflection, healing, and transformation, particularly for leaders and creatives seeking to navigate the demands of their callings with greater alignment and presence.

Joshua lives with his wife and five children in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
