Gail Stucker

Facilitator

Gail is a trauma-informed story coach and facilitator.  Having completed all levels of Narrative Focused Trauma Care training offered by The Allender Center, she feels honored to work with groups and individuals to tend to the debris of their stories with an eye towards healing and the revealing of who they are uniquely called to be in the world.  Gail’s journey has also involved work as a mechanical engineer, a campus minister, and a homeschool mom to four incredible humans.  Gail lives in Utah with her husband of 30 years.

Throughout her formative years, Gail dreamed of setting the world right as a detective but thought that dream died during college.  When she began training with The Allender Center, she didn’t think she had much of a story and sincerely believed she didn’t “do emotions.”  But through the kind, fierce, and wise care of those who have walked before and beside her, she found out otherwise.  Now her original dream has been reborn in the context of story coaching where she helps others explore and engage their heartache, trauma, confusion, and doubt.   Gail holds space and curiosity for those she works with to uncover a truer telling of their story and a more coherent interpretation of their lives with the hope of healing, freedom, and redemption.  Find out more at www.healingthroughstorywork.com.
