The Allender Center needs $12,500 to support survivors of abuse in Africa.

Ellilta International invited The Allender Center to join them in Ethiopia from October 22-26th to create a counseling model to work with abused and trafficked women in Africa. The team will consist of Dan & Becky Allender, Abby Wong-Heffter, and Jan Myers Proett. The mission of the trip is to conduct qualitative research and to develop a plan to equip African leaders to offer counseling for survivors of abuse and trauma. This is an incredible opportunity for The Allender Center to partner with under resourced, frontline workers who are offering hope to women in need.

The Allender Center needs your support to make this trip happen. Please make a gift today.

At the heart of The Allender Center is an unwavering commitment to offer hope to survivors of sexual abuse. This includes our sisters and brothers on the other side of the world. Through this trip, we hope to glean from our African partners an understanding of how they engage trauma and abuse within their particular cultures, church communities and unique ministries. We hope to learn how our understanding might support the development of their own approach to abuse and trauma care.
