Linda received her Master’s of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Colorado Christian University in 1992. Upon completing her degree, she returned to FamilyLife, a branch of Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) to finish a 15-year stint with the ministry. Additionally, from 1997-2004, she worked in various capacities with Wounded Heart Ministries and The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology.

Linda is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and maintains a private practice on Bainbridge Island, WA. Her role with The Allender Center includes facilitating Recovery Weeks and the Training Certificate Program, and as a member of the intercessory prayer team. Linda’s work centers around adults who have been victims of childhood trauma and complex trauma. She is in awe of the resiliency of the human spirit and the beauty of the mind in the face of trauma. Linda desires to come alongside clients and participants to help them reclaim years that have been stolen from them. She considers it to be a sacred privilege to journey with clients and participants in the reclamation of their original beauty and living into who they were meant to be as they explore the narrative of their lives.
