Cyndi has worked in a variety of settings in her 20+ years of counseling including crisis assessment, in-patient, and partial outpatient programs. She has led groups and created original content for group therapy, training workshops, and weekend retreats. She has been in private practice since 1995, working with issues related to trauma, sexual abuse, eating disorders, self injury, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, spiritual formation, and relational breakdowns. In 2004, Cyndi, along with her husband Steve, co-founded The Art of Living Counseling Center where she continues to work with adolescents and adults in individual, marital, family, and group counseling. Cyndi also provides supervision for master’s level therapists and graduate interns.

Through her years of counseling, Cyndi has seen over and over that our broken places are the very places our deepest beauty is hidden. When the broken parts of our story are met with kindness and truth, healing occurs. Cyndi considers it an honor to join others in those broken places. Cyndi is married to Steve and has 5 amazing children. She enjoys reading, teaching, dining, and hanging out with her husband and children.
