Professional Training

Advanced Certificate Program: offers a practical and essential addendum to a master’s degree by utilizing Dr. Allender’s technique for therapeutic engagement. This year-long program will provide a way for a therapist working in realms of trauma and abuse to learn a specified modality and theory. We also invite the therapist to engage in their own necessary personal work to gain a greater understanding of how to offer care and freedom from the effects of harm.

Externship Program: creates a place for MHGS Graduates to study under Dr. Allender and his teaching staff as well as practice the Allender methodology.  This year long program combines teaching time, supervision and hands-on training.
